My BIG graduate

Today we celebrate!
Tyler graduated from speech & language with flying colors. After 2 1/2 years of hard work of grammar, articulation, vocabulary and working on sounds, Tyler has "mastered" it all. I couldn't be prouder!

I always believed in Tyler! We worked hard together, first with early learning and speech, then with two full years of pre-K language and speech class. Tyler picked up ground quickly and was leading the pack for the last year or so. He was like the teacher, telling his classmates, "the f sound is a blowing sound." Then he would tell the group, say "ffffrog," "fffruitloop," "fffive", "ffffiretruck." The teachers loved his passion and assistance.
His speech teachers fell in love with him. His deep brown eyes warmed their hearts, but his ability to work hard, focus and continue to persevere inspired them.

Today they had a big party for Tyler, as he graduated speech and language. Along with cookies and stickers, they played some of Tyler's favorite games and did speech bingo. The day ended with Tyler receiving his diploma and I for one, couldn't be more proud!

Way to go Tyler! No fret, we celebrated in good fashion, letting the young lad pick the restaurant of his choice (Culvers!) and order what he wanted (he said, "mom this is going to cost you big!") and I didn't mind paying the check for this one! Cheeseburger & custards on me!
Way to go Tyler. We are so excited and so proud of you. AND...if you didn't know, he is "ready to go to kindergarten." I hear about it daily. He tells Cassie she isn't ready because to go to kindergarten, you have to "write your name, not your last, its okay to write Tyler B." and you need to know "all of your ABCS, count to 45, all your shapes and you cant have any accidents in the bathroom." Cassie was like, "I'll be ready for kindergarten in five minutes Tyler." Ha! Love these lil' Jersey kids!
