Random Photo!

Random.
I was organizing files on my computer and found this photos of Cassie and my parents cat, Lucky! This was the only photo I took when I went to visit my mother last (in early June) but giggled when I found it today. Cassie and Lucky very much enjoyed playing with each other. I think both of them have grown considerably since this photo was taken!

CHOP. CHOP.

Although corn chopping is done (who-ho to this mama!) its brings frowns to one particular Jersey boy in this household! Tyler LOVES to haul wagons when it comes to corn chopping. The whole process excites him! I'm told he'll be a foreman someday, as he likes to tell the workers what to do. (Stop overfilling the wagons or you need to go this way with the loads). He rides with anyone that's hauling loads and honestly, I think he got to ride with everyone that helped. He chatted their ears off about farm work, what pre-school is like and what he is going to be for Halloween (Batman!). AND...he made a new friend with the bagger guy, Marvin. Marvin would give Tyler a quarter after each day and Tyler just thought that was the coolest thing ever. He happily reports, "Marvin is my friend, mom!"
As far as the lil' Jersey girl, she was a no go on hauling wagons this time. I think she'd be willing, but this mama just felt she is too young. She loved bringing the hardworking men their lunches, flashing her pretty smile and wavin' to the boys passing by hauling wagons...and while everyone was busy with the chopping, she got to help dad with chores one night and she thought that was al-right!
Ty passed out minutes after a shower one night when he hauled wagons all day long! "I'm not tired," he reported. "Please, can I watch a movie." And, so I let him, and literally 60 seconds later, he was out for the count!
Meanwhile, Cassie takes over Tyler's role of helping Scott on the skid loader! Cassie happily reports, "lots of cow poop daddy!" Yes, there is!

Brothers & Sisters III

Tyler and Cassie are like most brothers and sisters, they know how to fight, but lately, the Jersey pair has been gettin' along really well. It's so cute watching them hold hands, sharing toys and giggling over the same silly things together. It just makes me smile.
This is when I stop, take photos for proof and write this down because they have days when I swear that they can't even look at each other without one of them screaming, yelling, crying or hitting.

Cassie's turn

While Tyler was at the farm chopping corn with the Bohnert men...Cassie decided that it was her turn to drive HER Barbie jeep around the 18th Avenue Ct home front. :) Since its a two-seater and her brother is generally around, she always gets to play passenger and never the driver. This time, it's Cassie's turn and thats something to smile 'bout!
