Pumpkin Patch Farm II
Second time around was even better visiting the pumpkin patch farm. This time, we towed pudge (Cassie) and much warmer weather (love 80's in October) as we hit an East Moline pumpkin farm. Unfortunately, dad's schedule didn't allow for him to get off the combine and join us. No worries...Tyler was definitely the head man...and showed us all around.
Hold on Cassie. Tyler towed her everywhere in this lil' Radio Flyer wagon.
Yes, thanks for noticing. I have slimmed down & stretched out. 3 feet, 5 inches to be exact.
Oh look at the selection!! Actually, it was slim pickin' out in the fields.
How fun...we ran into Lexi and family at the farm.
Cheese!! Yes, actually thats what we had for lunch. What a way to top off a fabulous day...grilled cheese & tomato soup! Warmed our tummies...and made us sleepy. That made this mom very happy!
Peek-A-Boo
Lately I've been lucky to spend quite a bit of one-on-one time with the adorable one year old in the Bohnert household. While Tyler lives for the weekends and spending time at the farm...us girls live for goofing off and playing together.

Playin' hookie
It's that time of year where the bugs just don't wanna go away. Tyler had pink eye and had to stay home. He felt good...just had a contagious icky eye! He went to the farm to help dad, so mom could get to work. Well, good thing I didn't hurry to get across the river to Swiss Valley...because an hour after I dropped Cassie off, I got a call that she spiked a fever. As the pictures show...kids look good & perhaps fooled us all, particularly Miss. Cassie Ann.

Pumpkin Patch Farm
Today we were off to the pumpkin patch for Tyler's monthly preschool field trip! The kids had a wonderful time despite the FREEZING temps. (Two days ago it was 90, today it was barely 50!) Tyler was so excited to go pick out his "VERY OWN" pumpkin, that is all he could talk about for the last 48 hours is "I get to ride the school bus and get my own pumpkin." What a great day to spend it with the three-year-old in our household.
Oh glorious pumpkins!!!
And a pig? Of course...animals were a BIG HIT today. This one was a part of the Three Lil' Pig Story that the host shared with us. Tyler's favorite story of ALL TIME! He loved seeing it in person.
Someday I'll be the bus driver!!!!
This one looks like a winner!!! AND...we took her home!
Tyler & his friends show off their prize possessions!
